Standard watts to amps

Standard planner views convert equipment wattage to current using a 230 V single-phase basis for indicative planning calculations.

Three-phase outputs

For three-phase equipment assigned to a three-phase output, load is distributed evenly across L1, L2 and L3 for planning purposes.

Phase imbalance

Phase imbalance compares the highest and lowest phase loading. The planner reports the result as a percentage and identifies the reference phases where appropriate.

Advanced calculations

Where Advanced Calculations is enabled, the project can apply per-output diversity and project or circuit power factor before calculating current. Nominal single-phase and three-phase voltages are configurable in the advanced settings.

Calculation views

Standard views continue to show the original planner calculation. Advanced Overview, Load & Demand and Cable & Protection use the advanced calculation assumptions.
