From test schedules to a submitted record

Power Sign-Off Software for Temporary Electrical Systems

Power sign-off software should help an electrician organise the records of a temporary system, without disguising calculations as measured results. LVA Power Planner connects completion forms, selected circuits, electrician details and saved paperwork versions. It can also be used for sign-off-only projects, without assigning a full equipment inventory first.

Prepare the paperwork

Shared event, venue and organisation details reduce repeated entry. Manual supplies generate individual G1 forms; generator grouping can combine associated supplies into a generator certificate. Select populated circuits for G2 or add manual circuit rows. Automatically supplied fields can be overridden where the actual installation requires it.

Coordinate electricians

Add project electricians and issue editable, time-limited access links. Account users and external electricians work on the same sign-off record, with section editing locks to help prevent conflicting edits. Circuit descriptions and available protective-device information can populate schedules; inspection and measured test results remain the responsibility of the competent person.

Preserve and distribute versions

Save Version locks a snapshot of the paperwork. Unlock to prepare a subsequent revision without replacing the earlier version. Export the saved PDF or submit it by email to the project owner and selected recipients, including engineer notes. Saved versions provide a record of the information issued at that point in time.
